One day Koha training program for LIS students

Kerala Library Association, Kottayam Region and BCM College, Kottayam jointly organised one-day training program on Koha Open Source library management system on 24 May 2017. MLISc students from St. Berchmans College, Changanacherry participated in the training program. The main aim of the program was to give Koha training and enhance confidence level of LIS students before entering into a workplace.

One day intensive basic Linux training

graduation-300pxThe one day intensive Linux training program aim to develop basic working knowledge of Linux using both the graphical interface and command line.

The hands on training sessions cover various tools and techniques commonly used by end users to achieve their day-to-day work in Linux environment.

After completion of this training participants should have a good working knowledge of Linux, from both a graphical and command line perspective, allowing to easily navigate through Debian/Ubuntu based Linux distributions. The training also focus on how to read and understand documentation of Open Source softwares.
