ഖജുരാഹോയിലേക്ക്
ഡിസംബർ മാസത്തിലെ കനത്ത മഞ്ഞു കാരണം ഉച്ചക്ക് രണ്ടര മണിക്ക് എത്തേണ്ട ഉദയപ്പൂർ-ഖജുരാഹോ ട്രെയിൻ വൈകിട്ട് ആറു മണിക്കാണ് ഝാൻസി സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ എത്തിയത്. ആളൊഴിഞ്ഞ ട്രെയിയിനിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി. കമ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റിൽ ഞങ്ങളും, മധ്യവയസ്കരായ ദമ്പതികളും മാത്രം. ആളൊഴിഞ്ഞ ട്രെയിൻ ആയതു കൊണ്ടാവണം ട്രെയിൻ അതിശക്തമായി കുലുങ്ങിയാണ് ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. അസഹനീയമായ തണുപ്പിൽ ട്രെയിനോടൊപ്പം ഞങ്ങളും കുലുങ്ങി വിറച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിന്നു. രാത്രി പത്തു മണിക്ക് ട്രെയിൻ ഖജുരാഹോ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ എത്തി ചേർന്നു.
ഖജുരാഹോ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ
വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികളെ മാത്രം പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു നിർമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ചെറിയ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ആണ് ഖജുരാഹോ. റെയിൽവേ പാത ഇവിടം കൊണ്ട് അവസാനിക്കുകയാണ്. ട്രെയിനിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിന്ന മറ്റു വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികളോടൊപ്പം ഞങ്ങൾ സ്റ്റേഷന്റെ പ്രധാന കവാടത്തിലേക്ക് നടന്നു. ഖജുരാഹോ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലേക്ക് അവിടെ നിന്നും എട്ടു കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരമുണ്ട്. വലിയ ഒരു ഓട്ടോ ടാക്സിയിലേക്ക് ഞങ്ങൾ ഞെരുങ്ങി കയറിക്കൂടി. സന്താന ബാഹുല്യം ഉള്ള രണ്ടു വടക്കെ ഇന്ത്യൻ കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ് ഞങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ഓട്ടോ റിക്ഷയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിന്നത്. വടക്കെ ഇന്ത്യൻ നഗരങ്ങളിൽ ഷെയർ ഓട്ടോ റിക്ഷകൾ ആണ് പ്രധാന യാത്രാ മാർഗം. വളരെ കുറഞ്ഞ കൂലി മാത്രമേ അവർ യാത്രക്കാരിൽ നിന്നും ഈടാക്കുന്നുള്ളു. കണ്ടാരിയ ക്ഷേത്ര പരിസരത്ത് തന്നെ കൂടുതൽ താമസ സൗകര്യം ഉള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് ഞങ്ങളെ റിക്ഷ ഡ്രൈവർ ഇറക്കി.
