The Ubuntu Release Party organized by Mahatma Gandhi University Library inaugurated by University Registrar Prof. (Dr.) K. Jayachandran. The event was held at the IIRBS auditorium as part of the launch of Ubuntu 24.04, a Linux-based Free operating system. The programme aims to bring Free Software awareness to the university community. Dr. Anas, Joint Director, IIRBS, presided over the function. Dr. Vimal Kumar V. presented the features of the Ubuntu 24.05. There was also a discussion on the topic. Dr. Biju Lal, Director, IMPSS, Lata Aravind, University Librarian, and Dr. Shiny Gopinath, Assistant Librarian, spoke on the occasion.
